A good movie, that could have benefited from more complex characters. However, it is a dinosaur movie so that is mostly forgiven. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard offer enough great chemistry to distract from their two-dimensional characters. The actual dinosaur destruction was, of course, very cool and fun to watch. Overall, a good enough movie that was missing just a bit more BITE. To it's credit though, it was a lot better than the toothless Godzilla reboot of last year. Final Grade: B+

The highlights … BD Wong (chief scientist) is the best actor, Chris Pratt (Raptor trainer) is great to look at, Bryce Dallas Howard can't seriously expect us to believe you can run thru the jungle (all day) in those heels, and Ty Simpkins (younger brother ‘on the run’) really needs a hair cut.

Most ridiculous part of the story … Training Raptors. All the previous movies drill into you how vicious, cunning and predatory they are.

The story, action, stupidity and occasional really cool special effect are all same old, same old.

NB: Watch out for the demise of Katie McGrath (the 2 boys “babysitter”). Her death was expected but not quite that way!

I gave up watching about 1/2 way through, it was just dragging on, and had so many similarities to the original. Stick to watching/owning Jurassic Park; a damn good movie, and special effects still pretty impressive 20 years later.
