Tonya K. Brown (Born, Chhin, Sakhan) was a twelve years old Cambodian farm girl during the terrible rule of Pol-Pot, aka "The Khmer Rouge." Cambodia was engulfed in war, between 1975 and 1979. During this time the Khmer Rouge was responsible for the deaths of some two million Cambodian citizens, by way of starvation, over working, and execution. Tonya lost most of her family during this time. However, God has kept her through sickness, pain, heartache, and death!
