The sound is amazing and the set up is incredibly easy. Not the motion the price. I would say these are better than most 300–400$ sets that I've used. GET THEM NOW!

This is the best headset I have owned. Playing for extended periods doesn't get uncomfortable, the build quality is great. Would recommend them to anyone looking for gaming headset at this price range.
I'd highly recommend this for the price, far better than any other headsets in this price range and even more expensive ones
This headset comes packed like royalty, it feels like you just paid $400 + for it, and it's built like it too. Super solid build quality, really sturdy aluminium and is super comfortable. But the sound is rather flat for a gaming headset, not that much bass to it. Sound is clear, however. Microphone is also extremely clear and doesn't get distorted when you speak loudly like other microphones.
A late review but if there's ever been a product I've purchased that deserves a good review, it would definitely be these. 4 years old and still bulletproof! Despite multiple travels and all the accidental drops and even a water spill (thanks to my girlfriend) these things are absolutely rock solid and still the most comfortable gaming headset out of the box cans I've owned. Definitely worth every penny. Highly recommended!
Most comfortable headset I've owned. No pinching of the ears and great to wear for hours on end.
Actually a really really nice headset. 10/10 would bang again. Was considering spending a couple hundy but this had a lot of nice reviews which I decided to trust. I'd recommend you buy these too – they're v v good.
Brilliant build quality, great mic, extremely comfortable and sounds great. Best headset in the price range easily.
Enough said.
These just feel light and durable, the cords are a great length and they sound awesome. I am a bit worried about the sound card getting warm after couple hours of intensive gaming.
Sound is awesome, and is super light and comfortable, the leather cups are a nice touch and I can wear them for hours without fatigue. Only downside is mic quality, can sound a little tinny and crackly at times, still acceptable quality though. A brilliant overall package and good value for money.
Easily one of the best sound quality and comfortable headsets I have ever owned. Really good quality and is perfect for the price :)
Really pleased with this headset especially for the price. Great 7.1 sound via the external USB sound card, plus mic quality is really good for Skype etc.
Amazing sound and extremely comfortable. Only problem is I have to put the mic very close to my mouth in order for it to pick up my voice clearly.
Headset is advertised to be for PS4, however it is not optimized for PS4 at all. The USB controller doesn't work on PS4, you are able to use the controller for 15 seconds max when plugging it then it stops working. So if you decide you want mute your mic or change any settings such as the 7.1 surround or your game volume you have to unplug the headset from the PS4 then plug it back to be able to change it, then 15 seconds later it locks again so you will have to plug and unplug to change. Poor optimization would not recommend for PS4.
The headphones are very comfortable and have a nice, solid feel to them – good amount of metal used, nothing feels plasticy. The sound is pretty good too, able to hit deep bass and overall sound is very clear.
Negatives are the dongle introduces quite a lot of noise, especially when you hit the 7.1 button. I had a splitter lying around which I tried and it improved the overall sound quality noticably. Also you have to really shove the microphone in to the headset hard, I thought it was broken at first, but it just wasn't completely in all the way – if you have similar problems make sure to really jam that thing in hard.
The detachable mic is very flimsy as I have only had it 2 days and the wire inside has snapped and torn
Broke within like 3 months, 1 side of headset no sound, and mic doesn't work. Typical tho.
Excellent headset, great sound quality and very comfortable to wear. It doesn't get 5 stars because microphone volume levels are nonadjustable.
First time 7.1 headset worth the money, box and item both look premium, i recommend the headset to anyone interested in buying a surround sound headset
Super comfortable, but everything sounds ‘tinny’, don't know if I just have a faulty pair, i'm waiting on tech support from kingston to reply, but either way, big disappointment and waste of $140
I'll start this by saying that the microphone is on par with a $5 Chinese microphones I bought on Aliexpress. I'm audible, but barely. It picks up even the slightest of breaths from a mile away, yet I constantly get told that I'm too quiet, even with the mic boosted to max.
The audio quality of these is a strong 7/10. Not the greatest, but still pretty good. The audio controller is good, but could be better. If it had media controls like most headphones do these days, I'd be incredibly happy.
Overall, I'd rate this whole thing as a 5/10. I've had a lot of issues with it, and ultimately don't know if I'll ever recommend this. The build quality is fantastic, and it's very sturdy, but I feel I can get better for a similar price.
Also, the mic has had a LOT of problems where it sounded like it wasn't properly connected, which has happened a few times for no reason. (It's rare, though. But still doesn't make me confident in the quality)
This is a great overall product if you want high-quality headphones.
Pros:
- Excellent quality sound
- The material is quality and not cheap plastic
- 7.1 surround sound through USB adapter
- Long cord through USB adapter
- Can adjust volume, mic volume, and mic mute from the USB adapter
Cons:
- The mic is too quiet
- The mic's quality is subpar but still legible
- You cannot disconnect the primary aux cord, it is built into the side of the left headpiece meaning that if it breaks, you have to replace the entire thing
- Built-in aux cord is long enough to fit into your pocket, but not long enough that it reaches the floor
- The 7.1 lights up, and that may be distracting
Overall it's a great product, and if you're looking for a headset and the cons don't scare you, consider buying it.
I've had these for 5 years now and they still work perfectly! Comfort and sounds quality is 10 out of 10. The replaceable ear cushion started falling off about a year ago, but again, it's replaceable.
We bought this fro our 14 year old as a new gamer and he loves it! Sound is great and microphone is very clear.
Amazing sound quality and microphone. The price is worth it!!
Relatively good value headset. Average audio and mic quality (in line with the price). Boom mic died after about 18months, then the cable gave out a few weeks later. Don't think I'll get the same again
Better than most of the more expensive options I have owned.
Had this headset for 4 years now going strong, great quality and great 7.1 sound. Very comfortable Would recommend
Very Comfy headset with a strong dense feel. Gives the feel of being high quality and unlikely to break. Sound quality very good and microphone is much better than competitors.
Apparently its a common problem for the microphone to be quiet, and its impossible in Windows to boost it like other plug in 3.5mm microphones you might have. Using the USB soundcard that comes with the headphones doesn't make it loud enough for others to hear without for example 200% volume in Discord and even then its too quiet.
This is apparently a common problem and the only way to fix it is too use external programs which boost all audio in and out of the headphones which isn't a great fix. No updates from the manufacturer to fix this.
Virtual surround works okay for a headset of this price. A bit tinny for some noises. Good for music the bass is good but not exceptional. Virtual surround can make some songs sound a lot better but adds reverb. Virtual surround does make locating enemies in games easier than regular stereo.
Do not buy this if you want headphones with a good quality microphone.
Excellent
Disappointed because it didn't came in with it's free pouch
Surround sound is nice and the audio quality is good. It also cancels noise from coming out of the headphones which is really nice since I usually have people around me when gaming because my pc is in a computer room
Lasted me 3 solid years until I got a new one though my first one still works fine, I was just a wee but rough with it so the cord is a little messed up and sometimes the sound gets a tiny bit messed up once in a while but honestly that's my fault for not really taking care of it lol. 100% I will probably buy this a 3rd time after years of use after my new one I ordered last week haha.
There needs to be a 6th star for things like this. They are the GOAT. Hands down the most comfortable headset I've ever owned. I'm a 34 year old gamer; I've owned a few. I've had 2 of these headsets. The 1st broke in a move. Since then I had a $300 Turtle Beach headset and the Cloud 2s are much better. Long story short, they're like a rough fart through an itchy butt-crack. Cheap, feel good and extremely satisfying. 11 out of 10
I'm able to hear the audio in-game with precise positioning. The audio isn't tinny either and has good clarity. The mic quality is also decent while also suppressing the background noise a bit. My one con to this headset is that when wearing glasses it puts pressure on my head. (The glasses sides a bit thick). But without them, the comfort is completely fine. The audio is very important when it comes to games, and this isn't a bad choice to go for.

Im not new to hyperx cloud, just getting a new pair for a friend. But believe me, as someone who has spent thousands of dollars on collecting other good headsets like sennheiser, steelseries & logitech, nothing else compares to the hyperx cloud 2. Why spend on anything else- you'll thank me later
A great headset for any platform on choice. Works great on a PS4 and the USB controller is compatible after a quick firmware update. The sound quality is immersive with perky highs and booming lows straight out of the box without additional EQ.
The headset itself is very comfortable and made of durable materials – but may be a bit too small/tight for those with bigger heads.
Microphone does the job and doesn't seem to pick up any unwanted noise.
Recommended if you're looking for a new headset within this budget.
After going through countless headsets, this is the one that I can count and rely on the most. Highly recommend!
Purchased as a gift for hubby’s birthday. After doing a bit of research and trusting online reviews I chose the Hyper Cloud II. No complaints from my mainly pc gaming hubby, in fact he was surprised at how much sound he missed without them.
Great Headset really comfortable great for gaming
The sound quality is very impressive for the price. It works with pretty much any device i own as well which is a plus. The only thing i don't like with it is the cable seems to want to twist on its own which makes me worried that it will eventually lose sound in one ear.
Without a doubt one of the most comfortable feeling headsets ive owned. Sturdy build and overall a good headset for both sound and mic.
Bought this headset from PB Tech for a steal of a price. It is very good, almost as good as my Astro A40s.
I already have two of the HyperX Cloud headsets, and unfortunately that model was no longer available when I wanted a third. No matter – it's the same thing, right- Well, it looks the same, but comes with a USB sound card that initially gave me some trouble. Personally, I'd have preferred the older style that comes with an extension cable/splitter cable that I can plug directly into my motherboard. Now it works consistently, but the USB device doesn't remember its 7.1 setting, which is a minor annoyance. The biggest issue is sound quality – every time I jump into a game with my older headset, people comment on how clear my microphone is. I have yet to perform a full audio quality test of this, but it's a pretty disconcerting to get feedback like that. I suspect that the audio chip on this thing is just crap.
I have owned and used many higher priced headsets and I must say I have been blown away with just how good this headset is. Since getting these I have not even considered trying something new which is very rare for me!
Really nice unboxing. Feels premium. The cans are solid with brushed aluminium that doesn't scratch easy. Comes with nice carrying bag. The sound quality is perfect for games. Plenty of detail and bass. They fit nice and snug on your head and will remain comfortable for several hours. They do cancel a lot of noise since they fit snug around your ears so if thats your thing, great! If not id suggest getting open back headphones instead. Only complaint is the mic isn't that great but I wasn't expecting it to be great. If you're looking for a headset with good mic quality there are other options out there that are better then the mic on the cloud 2's
The headset is extremely comfortable, the headband doesn't give you any fatigue and the ear-cups are soft and big enough so they aren't squashing your ears. Sound and microphone quality is awesome and I find it one of the better quality sounding headsets on the market.
Not an overly huge headset either so you won't look strange or like you're wearing a helmet when rocking these.
Done the firmware update on my Windows 10 pc and now it is fully compatible with my PS4 pro, headset is awesome slight bit of audio leakage but all in all I got the perfect pair at the right price
I was very impressed woke up and my dad handed it to me only ordered 20 hours before and saved like 7.90 on delivery through prime ape good quality packaging and audio
I have four children, and every time I played a game they would come in and cloud my gaming area. I wanted headphones and some of the cheaper sets found elsewhere were quite ordinary. I then decided to bite the bullet and buy the HyperX Cloud II Pro Gaming Headset from MightyApe.
The sound quality in these are fantastic, games like Fortnite you can hear clearly which side your enemy is coming from, have also used it for music by removing the microphone and can't complain. Would highly recommend these 10/10
It hasn't even been a day and I'm already in love with this headset! The sound direction is insanely accurate. I used to have a Turtle Beach Stealth Force 700P which cost $300 when I got it, but the Cloud II is leagues above it. Definitely worth the purchase
Strong Design and good sound if you are not looking to spend to much money but want a good headset these are for you!
Very nice very good headset feel good on ear :)
Partner loves it he was surprised about how well the packaging was, he loves it and easy to use and store away best headset he has seen and used by far. Highly recommend the hyper x headsets, no need for the USB part you can easily plug the headset into your controller and your all set to use it love the look and style on it
I've been using this for a few days now, and so far it has worked very well. The sound is good for a headset and I'm told my voice via the microphone is excellent and clear. Build quality seems reasonable; it came with a bag and a second set of ear cushions (one felt like the other more leather-like). Comfort levels are satisfactory, and I can wear them for hours without issue. I like the fact that these are a four-pole 2.5mm as they work with my android phone as well and even the house DECT phones. No real issues; just plug in and go!
Light weight and good quality headphones although my only concern is the microphone isn't the best quality. Other than that awesome.
If you want an affordable, high quality gaming headset that works across a wide range of devices, the Kingston HyperX Cloud II absolutely fit the bill. The stereo sound is powerful and detailed, with the 53mm drivers providing plenty of punch in the low-end, while also being sprightly at the high-end. The headset is most suited to video games, but it’s impressive in movies and music too.
Extremely comfortable and sounds really good for the price point. Top notch
Had a pair from Mighty Ape for over a year, great headphones would recommend to anyone.
i have been using these for around 3 months. before these i was using sennheiser hd202, these are not only comfortable but quite good quality in the sound performance. the build quality is also good. i recommend them for the $150-ish price range.
Apart from the amazing comfort of this headset – which is so good its almost rude – what I like most is the long boom-arm which puts the mic right by my mouth so people can always hear me nice & clearly – maybe I have a big head but mic-at-mouth is rare so really I appreciate it – its great for games on the PS4 but I also use it for longer calls on the cell phone
Excellent build quality and sound for the price
Have used these for the past 18 months and I haven't been disappointed. Not once. Extremely comfortable for hours on end, excellent sound quality for games and bass for music/movies, mic is clear, no fraying of anything on the set whatsoever even with daily use, very well built. Highly recommended if you're looking for a value for money offering.
Son loves these, very comfy to wear.
I’ve had mine for about 7 months and I cannot hear out of the left ear, pretty frustrating.
I brought these mainly for music at work, and boy do they deliver! Great sound, tons of bass, and all without sounding ‘muddy’. The virtual 7.1 surround works great in games (and for listening to Flac quality Nine Inch Nails!) and the headset is comfortable enough to wear for hours at a time. Have only used the mic a little on Xbox live, but it does perfectly fine and the other parties never misheard me. You would be hard pressed to find a better headset in this price range – if you don't believe me, check out some of the YouTube reviews before purchase! PS – Made my workmates jealous too, so that is a bonus!
, best one out there , only issue I have with hyperx cloud 2 is that the wires tangle a lot which gets pretty annoying but sound and mic quality is superb
Ordered my headset in the afternoon and arrived quickly at night. The headset itself has a really nice quality as well as the mic.
The headset not only looks good and is incredibly comfortable but also sounds great. They feel durable and I appreciate the amount of peripherals packaged with the cloud 2's.
Best sound value for the price tag. Wearing them 5–7 hours and still cumfy. Mic is kind of ok.
Love these, so comfortable, would be 5 stars if the microphone was more sensitive
Comfy, great sound, plug and play
I am just blown away by the sound quality, but after wearing it for an hour, it is starting to hurt my head and my ears. Despite that, I am still going to recommend this headset to my friends.
