This is a very good monitor arm for the price. The G7 is probably nearing the limits of what this arm can hold. I've had to tighten all fasteners just to ensure it holds its position as my monitor is fairly heavy and would make it sag lower than I wanted. Rotating horizontally is not an issue and works well. Nice feature is the Arm has a quick release lock so if you had two of these Arms you can switch monitors easily if you use two different displays in your setup.

This arm is awesome.. Extra charging usb ports always helps.. The movement of the arm is great really strong and sturdy.. Doesnt get loose like others ive used.. Using it on a 27" curved moniter..
