Kuwi & Friends Māori Picture Dictionary reviews

This book has been amazing. We are reading through it every night. Adding a few things every night. My 2 year has learnt to count to 20, most of the colours, a couple of animals, sea life, house hold things in English and Maori. She persists we have the pukapuka every night before bed.

Hands down an absolute amazing addition to the Te Reo library. Highly recommend. The illustrations are beautiful and the size of the book is substantial. 10/10

This book is just larger than a A4 size paper,beautiful and vibrant colours that appeal to my daughter and son. Hard cover. The pages are busy which is great as we play 'can you find’ type of games. The author is also an advocate of Te Reo so wanted to tautoko the mahi that she has put out into the world. I find this a modern, chic, and pretty pukapuka for my babies to read and to display on my shelf to catch peoples eye.

This book is beautifully Illustrated and designed and is perfect for anyone and everyone to learn the basics of te reo. It will be a book our family will treasure. Highly recommend!

A beautiful hardcover book with engaging pictures and a good range of vocab and basic sentence structure. It's just outsized – one of those annoying books that doesn't fit into any normal bookshelving.

This has been a fantastic resource in helping teach my children Maori words and concepts. We read through it together every night and they are already learning so much. I would absolutely recommend this book!
