My very first fountain pen. So far I'm fairly pleased writing with it. There was a small adjustment period at the start when I had switched over from disposable ball point pens but once I got passed that, I was writing for as long as I wanted (without cramping). I didn't realize how miserable my hand became when I picked up the disposable pens again. The lack of hand cramps were fairly noticeable when I switched back to the Lamy.

No bleed-through! I use cheap notebooks for everyday writing and I haven't noticed any bleed-through on the thin-ish paper (80gsm).

I'm not impressed with this colour. White is too “clean” for something I use everyday. It is starting to rub off along the sharper edges of the pen but it's hardly noticeable. The packaging, well lack thereof, did attribute to this when it was sent in the mail. There is no fancy packaging, the pen comes as is on it's own with the T10 cartridge tucked (unpunctured) inside. Not even a simple disposable sleeve to protect it from scratches whilst in transit. I'm not impressed with the blue T10 ink that came with the pen. It seems washed out on paper but I could become accustomed to it. No big deal. It's a shame I can't buy the Z24 converter here because I'm finding it difficult to source elsewhere in NZ.

Overall, the body feels sturdy (like something that'll make you say “this does feel German-made”) and I think I've a wise decision investing in the Lamy brand. I look forward to buying another Lamy pen but in a finer nib and darker colour.
