Reggie And The Full Effect is a solo project based in Kansas City by James Dewees who was the former drummer for Coalesce as well as keyboardist for The Get Up Kids, former touring keyboardist for New Found Glory and current touring keyboardist for My Chemical Romance. In the late 90’s when he was still in The Get Up Kids he wrote several songs that he felt wouldn’t fit with the bands style. But it wasn’t long before the first Reggie album was released and the project really kicked off.
‘Last Stop: Crappy Town’ is the 4th album from Reggie And The Full Effect and is a concept album about the New York City transit system. Particularly the subways in Brooklyn, with songs connecting together like the trains in the station.
Reggie And The Full Effect’s live show line up includes Billy Johnson (Drums) Paul Gray from Slipknot (Bass) and Cory White of Coalesce (Guitar).
‘Last Stop: Crappy Town’ was produced by Sean Beavan who is known for his work with Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails, System Of A Down, Slayer and Thrice.
