The “Led Zeppelin DVD” set features nearly five-and-a-half hours of performances, culled from the surprisingly sparse archive of professionally filmed footage of the group.
Zeppelin is captured in January 1970 at London's Royal Albert Hall, in May 1975 at the city's Earl's Court, in August 1979 at England's Knebworth Festival, and in July 1973 at New York's Madison Square Garden. The latter footage comes from the same show that spawned the feature concert film “The Song Remains the Same,” but was not included that release.
Rounding out the DVD are a few of the band's rare television appearances and interviews, promotional film clips, and some bootleg footage of the group shot by a fan.
