I thought the book 1 was a great artwork book, and man was I happy seeing this. A decent amount thicker and all about character development and spirit design! Heaps of story board art too.

Author Biography
Michael Dante DiMartino is an American animation director best known as the co-creator, executive producer, and story editor of the animated TV series “Avatar: The Last Airbender” and “The Legend of Korra,” both on Nickelodeon. He was born in Shelburne, Vermont.He studied at the Rhode Island School of Design with Bryan Konietzko, with whom he created Avatar. Before “Avatar,” Mike worked for twelve years at Film Roman, helping to direct “King of the Hill,” “Family Guy,” and “Mission Hill” in addition to his own animated short, “Atomic Love.” Bryan Konietzko s an American animation director, best known as the co-creator and executive producer of the animated series “Avatar: The Last Airbender” and “The Legend of Korra.” He has also worked as a character designer at Film Roman for “Family Guy” and as Assistant Director for “Mission Hill” and “King of the Hill.” The author lives in Southern California.
