This is a game I did not enjoy at all, the first time I played it. Then the wife and I played again, and it was better. We left it on the shelf for a few months, then came back to it and found the game to be so much better the second time round. It's got a very good push your luck element. One that rewards conservative play, or too reckless play, with losing. The set collection element is very pretty. Actually as is usual from iello, the production is superb. It's a very pretty game over all, it just looks good. Not a lot of thematic tie, in but man does it look good. That said, it's a filler game, in that is has no great strategic depth. Nor will you play more than two games of it a time. Hard game to teach by explaining the rules, much simpler to get the other person/people to just play the game and learn as the go. Plus it's a easy game to teach. So if your hunting for a good looking introductory game, to learn how to teach people how to play board games in a hands on manner – I'd highly recommend this game. If your looking for a grand tactical and strategic game, this one, nah not so much. That said I really like it, and so does the wife, so it will be staying in the collection.
