Letters from the Moon is based on the extraordinary letters Peter Owen Jones wrote during 40 days and nights he spent alone in a hermit's cell in the Egyptian desert, where he pushed himself to the limits of physical, mental and spiritual endurance. The beautifully linked letters are addressed to those who have played the most important roles in his life from his loved ones to religious and political figures such as the Prime Minister and even the Devil himself. Revealing and heartfelt, the letters combine personal memoir with broader issues of faith, morality and relationship relevant to all our lives.
