Little Girl is the smallest member of her family. She's too small ti reach the light switch. She's too small to touch the floor with her feet when she is sitting on a chair. In fact, she's too small to do almost anything by herself. But when Little Girl is alone in her special place, in the garden, she can be as big as she wants to be - until Dad appears again!

Simone Lia has written and illustrated several children's books. Her first book for Gullane was the hugely popular 'Billy Bean's Dream'. Simone lives in London and is a frequent visitor to Magma book shop in Clerkenwell.
