Enter Shikari's story so far is one of resistance and righteousness, a sense of unbridled purpose that's made every album a shock to the system, each new fix a brutal beautiful snapshot of them as artists and us as people.
Never just content with being timeless, having the colossal cojones to be timely, Enter Shikari have taken their punk roots and kaleidoscopic musical consciousness to the planet from their small-scale St.Albans-based roots where they formed in the early noughties.
- Enter Shikari have announced the release of their new live recording, Live At Alexandra Palace.
- The album takes the band’s ‘Bootleg Series’ to its sixth release.
- Live At Alexandra Palace features the full set (minus one track, due to technical issues on the night) from the band’s sold out show at the 9000 capacity London venue back in February 2016.
- The live recording was edited and mixed by guitarist Rory Clewlow and Tim Morris (the band’s live monitors engineer, as well as engineer / assistant producer on the A Flash Flood Of Colour and The Mindsweep albums).
- Since forming as schoolboys in 2003, the UK post-hardcore outfit have amassed a fierce allegiance of followers all over the world thanks to their unique blend of rock, punk and drum ‘n’ bass with lush ambient soundscapery with pop undertones.
