There are so many vivid memories of vastly different colorful characters from all our pasts, it is a near automatic reflex that their personalities should come out in writing free verse poetry. Such is the case in Live Love. Over the years I have been blessed to have met, and often, made friends of these individuals and have chosen to incorporate their spirits into the words of this work. As you move through the poems, you will experience the varied voices of love born of politics, romance, homespun philosophy, humor and spirituality. The names of the "characters", writing the various sections, are fictitious. Each represent perhaps a blending of several or many of those whom I have met.
