Author Biography:

DANIEL COOK is Associate Professor of Childhood Studies and Sociology at Rutgers University, USA. He is the author of The Commodification of Childhood, editor of Symbolic Childhood, and of numerous articles and book chapters on childhood, consumer culture and studies of leisure and social life.
