Author Biography:

John Herlihy was born in Boston, Massachusetts and has worked for more than 40 years as an educator and professor of academic writing and research. He has written many articles and books on the integration of the traditional world within the modern world, including Wisdom's Journey, Borderlands of the Spirit and the Holy Qur'an: An Intimate Portrait. He presently teaches academic writing in the English Dept. at Qatar University in Doha.
