Description

Water provides a sense of wonder and tranquility that attracts architects, home owners, vacationers, and anyone looking for an escape. This book presents sixty works of architecture from across the twentieth and twenty-first centuries that have a special relationship with water. Similar to Elemental Living, it will include a visually breathtaking selection of architect-designed houses that have been built to look at the water, built to be on the water, and built to be reflected by the water. Each of the featured projects will be illustrated with multiple exterior and interior images of the structure, and will also include a short description.
