Inspired by a survivor's event in 1998, she wrote "Live the Dream," a song that has reached thousands of cancer survivors as part of nationally-syndicated television and radio shows, motivational speeches, and music tours. "Living the Dream" shares Karen's touching and entertaining story of her own survivorship, the events that lead to the song, and the journey the song has allowed her to live, including the formation of the Ivan & Sam Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating educational materials for children battling cancer.
