Logitech G933 RGB Wireless 7.1 Gaming Headset - White reviews

As much as I love this headset I would not recommend it.

Pros: Sound Quality is excellent, Mic Quality is below average but still pretty okay by my standards, the Wireless feature is amazing. Lighting is a neat gimmick although I never purposely had it on as it drained the battery faster. Custom Equalizer was cool, gave my music a lovely bass. Surround sound was great although I never used it much.

Con: However, the hardware itself is easy to fault. I purchased my headset in November 2017 and I've had to get it replaced twice due to it becoming faulty (Please note, I use it for long hours each day, however, I don't get rough with it as I don't game). The first fault was a charging issue, where it became impossible to charge. The time I had to get it replaced was when it sometimes disconnected from my PC and I had to restart for it to be picked up again, as well as this, it also didn't respond to the Logitech Software (Yes, it was up to date), which meant that it's lights were constantly on draining my battery. After trying hardware resets and other “solutions”, Logitech Support deemed it faulty. I've since then decided to try my luck on a different headset.

Due to my experience with this headset, I would not recommend it, however, if you want to risk it then go for it. The warranty does last for 2 years so if it becomes faulty you are able to get a replacement as I have. You won't be disappointed (until it becomes faulty).

I would just like to note that the Logitech Support Team is very helpful and understanding when you go to them for help, and that the MightyApe Support Team is also very helpful and quick to replace faulty products.

So long as you're not charging with the LEDs flashing the sound won't cut out randomly.

I also found that the in-line 3.5mm was soldered poorly. I haven't oppened it up but it just won't connect to my xbox controller. So i have a spare headset if i want to talk on xbox live.

Other than that the sound is great and I'm not sure the purpose of the LEDs but they're cool when it's on a stand.

Realistically it's a freat headset i just need a replacment 3.5mm lead.

This headset looks really nice but the material of the body are mostly plastic. The logitech has the best quality I can trust so I gave it a 4 stars rating. But to be honest, for this price, it is not over-reacted to ask for a more metal made head set.By the way the button of the headset is really low quality.

Having bought 2 pairs of the logitech g933 and having returned them both for the exact same microphone issue, I would not recommend this product. The mic is horrible sounding and full of static without any noise suppression from external programs. The only things going for this headset is the fact that it's wireless and the comfortable ear cups that it has with it. If you're looking for a good long lasting headset I wouldn't recommend the Logitech G933.

Just returned my second one of these,only bought another because they were clearing stock ready for the 935-and this was maaad cheap.I got a year out of it before the power switch failed.Its definately put me off buying another logitech headset.I smashed the first one out of frustration due to it always having to be hard reset by removing the battery and replugging it in.I was an angrier man back then clearly.....!

The bluetooth is bad after a few months

This headset is great… But only for pc if you were hoping to use it on Xbox you might as well forget it the sound cuts out and it doesn't work wirelessly

I seen a heap of reviews that complained about several things but honestly I cant see what the fuss is about. If you have a problem with them in the early years your warranty will keep you safe. Huge smile on my face hearing my favorite songs, best set iv'e ever owned straight up. Look after them and you shouldn't have any issues :3

This headset has okay battery life and the sound is fine. But the microphone mutes itself every time I install or uninstall steam games or windows programs. Sometimes putting the mic down wont unmute it no matter how many times you try. Sometimes after having the mic up/ muted putting it back down to use will result in horrible crackling sounds for whoever you are talking to, in order to fix this you have to mute and unmute the mic then wait a few seconds. It also beeps randomly all the time. Would not recommend to anyone as there are better headsets on the market for cheaper now.

Great head set. Good mic quality. Great surround sound. Only issue I have had is the battery doesn’t last as long as I would like. But overall a great headset.

We have two of these headsets – one for me, one for my partner. The sound is fantastic – hands down great value for the price. Multiple software issues however. Wireless – perfect, no issues. However when wired the headset will randomly turn off and on even with sound going through it. I have found turning the lights off in the software has fixed this issue.

I really wanted to love these headphones. They have their positives. Comfy. Good sounding. But the battery is kinda awful, so the lights are unusable, they cut out randomly, often the surround sound doesn't kick in, etc.

The sound quality is next level and the build quality is really sturdy, love the RGB lighting effects too! It is a little on the heavy side since it's wireless, so if you want a lighter headset, go for the wired version!

Wireless usb stop working and only worked on xbox

My Logitech g930 headphones finally needed replacing and the g933 is not only an upgrade in the looks department but the sound is incomparable! The g933 sounds amazing and the surround, while not as good as a true 7.1 surround headset, does a great job simulating a surround soundstage. They are super comfy and aren't heavy or fatiguing, even for extended play periods. Only downside would be the shorter than average battery life but this is over come by just leaving them plugged in while the computer is off, they still charge regardless. Plus they look amazing and go nicely with the rest of my white pc gear.

Just amazing, I had a 7.1 surround Logitech 930 head set before, these just blow them out of the water. 7.1 is good but the Dts x 7.1 surround sound option has blew me away. It adds such depth to the sounds, it makes standard 7.1 sound really bland, making them great for movies and gaming, I have them, running off my Xbox 1 and PC at the same time and I can put the USB adapter in my TV and stream the sound wireless to the couch or into another room

Perfect quality, amazing price and simply outstanding in all aspects. The headset comes fully preparing you for the wild world with a range of accessories and the means of knowing your way around the headset itself. Small issue with mine is that one of the magnets came off the ear cap but it was very easy to simply just glue this back on.

Amazing headset although app could use a redesign (altho it has plenty of the functionality) For example profile and juat a general settings overview should be in home tab. Because for ages I thought macros didnt work cuz I was changing them for some random profile.

Also some additional default equalizers for different music styles would be great(altho they have a great set up for custom equalizers)

Awesome all-round, just wish it worked on smart TV wireless. Plug and play is instant and great battery life.
