You need to be a full blown engineer to set this thing up because all the software is rubbish and does not work very well. You will need a desktop PC if you need to teach the remote unique devices that are not in the Logitech database. Be prepared for stupid popup windows that like appearing. A tablet can also be useful for trying to set this thing up, but the software is different between PC & tablet. The remote has great difficulty being recognised over the usb cable which you need to use for the teaching function, be prepared to tear your hair out. A Logitech fail I think, and a very expensive one!!!!!!
This is my third Harmony and easily the best. For big home theatres and home automation it's great value.
