"This is a fun two person game"
3 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

I read a number of reviews from couples that saidthey enjoyed playing together so I thought I'd give it a shot. The cards are pretty and the game is reasonably simple. It took us a few minutes to work out that a ‘round’ is an entire game; basically you agree before hand if you want to go for a best out of three approach or total the points at the end of 5 games etc. There are definitely different strategies that can be used to decide when to play cards and when to hold them back. We've enjoyed playing and there's a definite competitive edge!

"Excellent two hander"
5 stars"

Fast and furious, this game gets pulled out a lot and usually gets packed when our family travels as it can be played anywhere. Not particularly thematic but nevertheless quite strategic.

Description

For the daring and adventurous, there are many lost cities to find. The search can take you to the Himalayas, the Brazilian rain forest, the ever-shifting sands of the desert, ancient volcanoes and to Neptune's Realm. Of course, you must choose which expeditions to begin and which to leave to others. You may have the opportunity to increase your investment in the search, increasing the rewards for success, but risking more should you fail. The player who finds the right balance will have successful expeditions and win the game.
