"Not for everyone"
5 stars"

Make no mistake, this is a five star movie, it's just not for everyone.

Note this: THERE IS NO PLOT!

This is why a lot of people will find it boring. Yet it is great without one. Bill and Scarlet go about their lives, lost in the comings and goings of the Japanese people. It is a beatiful romance which is very realistic. Not overdone.

Note that this is also a comedy. But it doesn't feel like a comedy. You'd laugh-out-loud at the wise-cracks and hilarious situations.

Also, note the PG rating is way off. There is a minor amount of nudity – they go to a strip club. However that is all, there is NO sexual references other than that. An M rating probably. They never have sex or anything close to it.

If you like only action movies, you'll find this movie dull and boring. However, if you enjoy dramas, you'll love this one.

Lost in Translation is a slow paced movie orbiting around two dislocated forigners in a strange land. Thing is, at least the two characters can find some humour in their situation with each other.

Basically If you think Scarlett's hot, Bill rules and Japan would be a wacky blast, then you're in for a treat, it's a great watch.

Everyone wants to be found.

5,000 miles from home, Bob Harris (Bill Murray) is facing a mid-life crisis, and Charlotte (Scarlett Johansson) is having an identity crisis. When these two lonely Americans cross paths in a Tokyo bar, their chance encounter sparks a series of hilarious adventures, creating an unexpected connection that might not last, but will stay with them forever.
