Description

What bloody man is that? Mac is ruthless. That's precisely how he's helped make his employer, Kings Hedge Fund, one of the most profitable on Wall Street. And it's why his wife knows she picked the right horse to back. It's summer, 2001, and Kings Hedge Fund is perched high above New York in the World Trade Center. The dot-com bubble is bursting and there's desperation in the air, as the fund's fatherly founder, Duncan, contemplates handing over leadership to his successor. It's inconceivable that Mac won't be given the reins-Mac is simply too valuable to overlook. So when Duncan confides his plans for his playboy son to take over, something just . . . snaps in Mac. The resulting bloody chain of events takes him, and his wife, down an escalating path of murder and madness that will consume them all. Shakespeare's Macbeth is updated and set in the brutal financial world of New York City during the lead-up to the attack that would change everything. "Mac is to be feared...intense. " - Advanced Reviewer Fans of MacBeth and House of Cards will love this modern adaptation.
