All three games have fantastic stories, and the gameplay of each holds up well.
The performance issues bring down the package a great deal though. Sound cuts out, cutscenes freeze the game requiring console restarts, and odd gameplay glitches are common.
The last few missions of the first game had no vehicle or weapon sounds for me. The second and third games crashed numerous times for me.
The quality of the story and voice acting helps the game a lot, and when nothing weird is happening on screen, they are great fun.
