In my opinion, the #1 greatest SOLO board game of all time
Warning: This is a game that takes a LOT of COMMITMENT to learn. If you're the kind of person to play a game once or twice, then move on to another game, you will not enjoy your time with Mage Knight.
But if you are someone who likes to play a game many times, internalise the rules, and then see if they can master it, then I think you will love this. The included expansioins (which you should play without for at least the first dozen or so plays) are excellent and really add to the already unbelievable replayability.
Best played aloxne but I could see how it could be fun with another person who either knows the rules already, or enjoys really heavily thinky games.
