Maggie has been an angel for a very long time. She loves her job helping people on Earth. One day a rather bossy young angel named Crystal tells Maggie that she might be getting too old to do good angel work any longer. With only three days left until Christmas, Maggie fly's down to Earth. She wants to prove to Crystal and herself that she can still make miracles happen. Maggie lands near an old abandoned Christmas stocking factory where she sews the most wonderful, magical stocking named Thredrick. Along with Thredrick, Maggie helps make miracles happen at Christmas.
Dora Pohl got the idea for Maggie's Christmas Miracle from a dream she had more than twenty-five years ago. It had always been her desire to have that story published. Now a great grandmother, she has enjoyed writing all her life, whether it was with the kindergarten children she taught or for a country journal. When he was teaching fifth and sixth grades in North Dakota, Kevin Kremer began writing stories with his students. It was largely due to their encouragement that he wrote his first book, A Kremer Christmas Miracle, as a Christmas gift to his students and family. After that book was published, Kremer just kept on writing. Dr Kremer has started a writing/publishing company to help with writing projects of any kind. Dave Ely is a self-taught artist with many talents. Besides illustrating books, he does custom wood carvings, bone sculptures, steel sculptures, and paintings.
