Genre – YA/Junior Fiction/FantasyMagic ......so Call wasn't meant to be in the Trophy Room… Screams were heard, yes, chaos was happening again, now at the Collegium… Seems like it was comming from the War Room. Yes, very appropriate to have screams and shouting in the War Room. The Collegium you see, was under water, and a murder had taken place. This was the start of, The Bronze Key, of the Magisterium series. Oh what a start to this facinating book. You see there is a spy at the Magisterium… Who wanted to kill, Call. Yet, as I'm writing this, the gang haven't arrived there yet, there is 3 days to go!! The gang now had code names for things … One word they were never aloud to mention, that the gang knew and nobody else didnt … Became .. Captain Fishface. Now back at the Magisterium… This year they were learning about… “personal responsibility” … Also with there being a spy, in the Magisterium, Master Rufus was absolutely adamant that the gang wasn't to catch this person. “I insist – that you do not attempt to catch the spy yourselves. Leave this to us.” (Quote) Call thought this was the most unconvincing thing to say… I also, when I read it, though this was the most unconvincing thing to say … Infact, I smelt trouble. So what do you do- Do you ever listen to your teacher- The gang … Being as they are, decided to put the riddle together themselves and see if they come up with an answer… Did they solve the mystery- Well if anyone has read the series, you will know how jammed packed full of adventure they are. Warren, features in this book again, up to his usual tricks. Call decides to pay the Masters sleeping quarters a visit and find they have different doors, for example…a plain metal door, a door brushed with silver… But no door that you could crack the code to… Hilarious suggestions from Jasper on his “five tips” with a girl, made me almost fall off the couch myself, just like Call. I will never look at cat calendars in the same light again – .. I was completely satisfied yet surprised by the ending, a plot twist plugged right at the end had me hungry for the next book in the series. I recommend this book to anyone who likes adventures, although this is a pre teens book, I still put it under the category.. YA. It's a great easy read for adults and if you like The Famous Five, or The Secret Seven, then this is for you, similar to Harry Potter, it is easier and more lighter to read.
