Got this to replace a standard lightning cable after the 7 year old destroyed the plug on the old one pulling it out of her school iPad. No problems with the cable once we got the plug seated properly. Not sure about the fast charging, seems about average but was not the reason we bought it so not worried.

Worked good for the first few days, but it has stopped working. I brought two and one just refuses to charge my iPhone anymore. It is also hard to seat properly to get it to charge and there is a blue light that shows that the cable is live. This light is obnoxious at night time so I don't recommend for bedtime use.
