In the waters surrounding Mako Island live a pod of strange and wonderful creatures – mermaids!
Within the pod it is the job of the youngest members to protect the Moon Pool and guard it from trespassers. But on the night of a full moon, the mischievous mermaid girls neglect their duties; setting forth a chain of events that will forever change the lives of the Mako Mermaids!
Whether the young mermaids are venturing onto land to live amongst humans, discovering an ancient and powerful merman chamber, or confronting a fearsome Chinese water dragon, their friendship’s will be tested and stunning truths will be revealed as they work through their differences to realise how much they need each other if they are to restore peace to Mako Island.
