Author Biography

Yan Burch is Head of Mandarin and in charge of Oriental Studies at The Cheltenham Ladies College, UK. She has been teaching the IB Diploma for five years, is an experienced examiner, and is also a Principal Examiner for Cambridge International Examinations (CIE). She contributed to Edexcel Chinese for A2 and is active in developing and promoting Chinese language and culture in UK schools.
