Most of the time in the movies, War Machine's helmet does not look like a repaint of Ironman's, the shape is different. Okay, in Dark Reign it does look like this, but I would not say this is a representative look for War machine in the movies. However. I like this look, War Machine's colour scheme is my preferred one, so this is fine. The build quality is not as good as one would imagine for the price, at least in my one. The strap inside which holds it on the head is very loose in the back (the wheel lock) to the point where it does not work at all, fortunately I can swap in the one from my Iron Man helmet, and it fits just the same. This is a repaint of the Legends Iron Man helmet, as far as I can tell, so that is not surprising. The LEDs in the eyes do not seem as bright and vibrant as the Iron man Helmet, but it could be my imagination, they are red instead of white, so that could be why. Unlike the slick gloss finish of the Iron Man Helmet, this has a rougher texture, and a matte finish, which is very cool, but it somehow feels less solid in my hands than the IM one. The face plate is secured with strong magnets, I can't imagine a scenario where it would come off unless you wanted it to. The interior is very detailed, and has a very “techy” look, which is a nice touch. The helmet scratches easily and would probably not hold up if it were to be used to play, but if you can't afford one of those full metal motorized ones, this is a decent piece for a collection.
