Thomas Beck enjoyed a 20-year legal career in Washington, DC before returning, with his wife and two children, to the real world, which, for them, is Nashville, Tennessee. "Mason the Lucky Dog" is Thomas's first children's book. He is also the author of a quite different book, a legal text called "Constitutional Separation of Powers: Cases & Commentary." Jan Shannon studied art at Volunteer State Community College and O'More School of Design. A native of Nashville, Tennessee, she lives with her husband and has two grown children.
