Very happy with this dish, I wanted a covered dish to prevent flies that didn't take up too much space in the pantry The previous reviewer is correct in that it doesn't fit a full size nz block of butter (length seems fine, its height), however if like me you are only interested in softening a small amount of butter at a time, it is perfect.
A nice retro feeling curvy lidded butter dish, that will be a useful addition to any kitchen.
