I've searched for ages for something like this to hold my car key securely while running. It's so reassuring to be able to see the wrist band and know the keys are safe on my wrist. I don't have to keep checking my pockets or running belt to make sure it's still there

For a wristband with a pocket, it ticks the boxes. Wrist band? Tick. Pocket? Tick.
