Fantastic perspective by the director, as if I was along for the ride as Bruce's journey unfolded before him. I`m sure any car enthusiast, well anyone for that matter would appreciate the passion, ingenuity, and dedication this New Zealander Bruce McLaren his family and friends had for the sport of motor racing and design.
I thought it would be a more of movie about Bruce McLarens life re-enacted. But was more of a documentary with lots of his friends / other drivers / wife etc telling the story and lots of old film snippets. Despite it not being very flashy and dramatic, I found the story fascinating and really enjoyed watching this film.
GREAT DVD into the insight of a true, great Kiwi gentlemen, if u haven't brought the DVD yet, then DO great dvd.
