Medal of Honor Limited Edition reviews

This game feels unfinished, and shallow in multiplayer. I got this to fill me in until Black Ops releases. A shame really that it could of been alot better. The same feel as BFBC2 and a few points from MW2 but apart from that it lacks in originality.

Just finished the single player campaign.

As mentioned, it is similar to BC2 and MW2 but it is a formula that proves popular for those who like modern-warefare FPS – why change it?

The graphics and sound are awsome and the cut-scenes are well choreographed and movie-like. Some are quite long but I guess they are needed in order to immerse you in what is to come.

I found the single player campaign addictive as the action and cut-scenes flow well together so you dont really get a break!

The game play is realistic but not too demanding, as long as you dont get too gung-ho. There are some good testy firefights.

There is no big finale where you have to out-muscle some in exhaustive enemy or alien, but there is a suggestion at the end there is more to this story. You need to let the last cut-scene play out.

The credits role with an emotive song by Linkin Park which seems to suit the atmosphere of the game.

Most will buy this for multiplayer. I haven't dabled much yet, but if you like BC2 and MW2 you should enjoy this game. I have read of some negetives such as the limited options available but I think they cover the most popular ones in FPS anyway (IMO). As long as the servers are there and working, it should attract some like-minded fans.

All in all I think it is a great game and worth adding to your list. Enjoy!

I bought this game at a retail store after school, and finished it pretty quickly. I found that it had a nice storyline and has quite tasty graphics. Although I do feel that multiplayer let it down a wee bit, it was good but I felt like it was lacking in some way, fortunately, DICE has already addressed many issues of it and has already announced a map pack due in november. It can only get better from here :)

I mist say that this is a very enjoyable game.At first I wasn't sure about it but bought it anyway and its not bad at all.The missions are good and well thought out,good selection of weapons without over doing it and it looks good combined with good A.I I was pleasantly surprised as its straight to the point without draggig on and being tedious.It is worth a buy for sure and you will enjoy it.The best Medal of Honour and the most realistic one.

Got the game. Played the missions, bug's stopped me from continuing had to rest the whole mission so gave up…MP is shit as well no NZ servers and the maps a small and all people do is spawn camp save your money for (COD- BO)

Cons I finished the single player in the hardest setting and finished in two days, in other words it was way to short. The multilayer seems too much like an expansion of Battlefield BC2.

Pros Fun and of a high quality. Never crashed once on me, which is an absolute marvel considering the coding quality that has been appearing now days with games like modern warfare and STALKER-clearsky (buggiest game I ever played, BUT one of the best and well worth the modding time).

Long story short, I was very disappointed. If this was $20 then I would recommend the purchase other wise borrow it off a mate < (that comment will make mightyape happy ;D).

Good game could be a bit more tactical not just spawning to get hit straight away from spawn camping loosers

I've played Medal of Honor since Playstation and going into this I thought I could at least have a decent crack at it like old times. I installed the game and then it just turns to custard…

The sensitivity settings on this game are completely ruined. I used 1800 DPI and usually 0.35 sensitivity on Call of Duty 4 (a really great engine that is) and it feels like I'm on 6 sensitivity on the lowest setting in MOH. Moreover, it feels like there is auto-acceleration which is a big no-no for FPS.

tl;dr The game is not refined and I don't recommend.

This is really a big step for medal of honor and improved so much from the last one. Its probably one of the best games Ive played. Its great and you feel like your really there. Ive played the other medal of honors and this one is truly something els and i like it. Don't expect it to be like the once before. Its kinda a mix between Call of duty and battlefield. its truly a great game and i enjoyed it. hope you do to. 8.5 / 10

Good game as the others

A fun game to play. I enjoyed the single player. But on the hardest level it is just silly how easy it is. Hard was easier than normal in most games and I finished it in one night hardly dieing. I was struggling with a new keyboard and would be standing out in the open trying to find keys but not dieing. If you are tossing up between this and Battlefield Bad Company 2 and want a challenge go for Bad Company 2

A quick heads up to help anyone with this issue. When installing using “disc authentication” an error message may appear after a minute stating “error reading from file
[DVD-drive]:\Binari­es\rldata.dll” Online forums mentioned: Turn off all AVG (virus protection) processes using ctrl+alt+delete then hit retry

This worked for me. However only after half an hour of frustration and trawling the forums for help. This issue is apparently caused by the copy protection software securom used by the publisher EA. After all that its enjoyable to play. If a bit easy.

Just be aware this takes a LONG time to install, took me over 9 hours and I can play this on the highest settings.

Looks pretty,annoyingly fast paced a real step up from the original MOH!

This is one of the best Medal Of Honor Yet with a good story line Inspired by real events.

Just finished the sp campaign. Yes it is short, i did it in 8 hours. But it was enjoyable.

Graphics and sound combined with game play made it an engrossing 8 hours.

I had an issue with punkbuster for mp, but sorted that out after reading a few things on the web. Mp is interesting, its a change from cod4mw. Was getting spawn killed alot at first, no fun in that.

I tried out the Tier1 play. Its kinda cool, though some of the times posted seem a bit dubious to me. I did bagra in 16 mins the top is 3.02 mins and thats counting the 30 sec of cutscenes yeah right. So i think tier one is good to compare against your friends etc, i wouldnt be to worried about some of the top scores.

All in all a great game to add to your fps collection. Lets hope they make the next one a little longer by twice at least.

Kick-ass game. Brilliant graphics, played with GTX-460. Can't wait to see what they will follow-up with. Only negative was game finished in 4 days :-( … Wished gameplay could have been longer.

I was hesitant about buying this at first, but once I was playing it I couldn't put it down. I can get repetitive at times but the multiplayer is the best.

This game had great potential and while the graphics and gameplay were good, the game was full of bugs causing level restarts, hopefully these will be fixed in time. The main complaint shared by many was the shortness of the game averaging Only 8 hours total single-player gameplay and no solo missions. Not worth the money.

The issue are in some stages if your buddy is waitting then go back and re start that stage..

This Game is very action packed. Only down side, the maps gould be bigger and more tanks, jeeps etc.. Overall recommended to all FPS players

Less than 4.5 hours of campaign gameplay beginning to end, but thoroughly enjoyed every minute.

It's good one game..I like it

Single player was great like any of the medal of honor games, but then all goes downhill once you play online, its a whole different game, I would watch youtube online play before jumping out to buy it for online use only. Still a good game but not great.

Wish I had played the MP beta now before pre-ordering. Unfortunately the MP experience is quite poor. The SP campaign is reasonably good but suffers from a number of bugs. Such a promising game failing to deliver yet again. Looks like it'll be Black Ops for me(or MW2 if there are no NZ BO servers :().

Single player is far to easy. Playing on hard makes little differences.

Mulitplayer is the best bit about the game and even that's great. Not enough maps or game-play types. Seems like a mix of COD4 and BFBC2. I also couldn't find and NZ servers.

Single player is really short and multi player is fun but nothing outstanding. There is a lot of spawn killing in this game though so if you are easily angered then give it a miss.

A game I was waiting for and I love it , the online play is mint and trying to find a good sniping spot is hard lol

The Campaign is not long. Suggest you run it on hard rather than normal. Excellent story line and video. The much touted Tier 1, appears to just be the episodes from the Campaign but on hard level and you sure have to watch your ammo as there is no buddy fill ups. It is a little (OK a lot!) frustrating to do a Tier 1 episode and die 15 mins in, as when you die, you start again!

I have been thoroughly enjoying my multi player experience with this, I am a Rambo type player and have been enjoying some of the maps very much. I am still a keen BF2BC player and the two complement each other for the different styles. The single player is a pleasant distraction from the online game and I have been playing that in little bits only as I know it doesn't last that long.

Excellent game with a great storyline and game play.

This looks like the beginning of the return of the Medal Of Honor series.
