Author Biography:

California based photographer Markus Cuff is perhaps the most highly respected and visible photographer in the tattoo world, regularly contributing to Tattoo magazine, Tattoo Flash, and producer of many magazine specials. He has over 100 U.S. national magazine covers including American Iron Motorcycle and was the single largest contributor to the Rolling Stone book Tattoo Nation perhaps because of his ease and access to Rock's royalty: Markus was the original drummer for Emmylou Harris and the cult band The Textones. An avid photographer of pop culture and nature. From Rock to Jazz, he is often spotted front stage at numerous LA concerts and intimate recording studio photo shoots. The botanical gardens at Pasadena's Huntington Library are a constant inspiration to Markus' sense and eye. Whether he is documenting vintage motorcycle collections or wandering the back alleys of Melrose Avenue he is always in search of the perfect image, all is game for Markus Cuff.
