This book contains true life experiences that I went through to let men know that if we trust in God, he's there to help with our marriage. I didn't have anyone to help me in the situations I was in. I relied on the wisdom that the almighty God gave to me. One thing I realized was, the way I was doing things wasn't working. The mistake I made was I didn't bury them or remove pride aside so I could learn from my mistakes. I knew down in my soul I was more than my situation wanted me to be. My faith grew stronger as I began to realize it wasn't all about me, but ab out the one I married. I learned that marriage was and still is about giving. And if you know how to give, then we also must learn how to receive. Yes, we can say it is giving and receiving. If I give it my all, unconditionally, not looking for returns, my God will bless me and keep me. I trust not the flesh of that person but the God that's in them. This life here on earth can't last long. If we trust in Lord God, he will watch over us and keep us in perfect peace. Thanks to my loving wife, Shirley Hairston, for knowing how to receive the love that I give her. I thank God for my children. They were there through it all, listening and praying. I love you.
