Metal Gear Solid HD Collection previews

I can't believe this wasn't done sooner! 3 of the greatest playstation games of all time in a single package! Even better MGS3 has been confirmed to be the subsistence version, with the far better camera! MGS3 is probably my favorite game ever, it no doubt has the best storyline out of any game I've played before and considering it is PS2 graphics, it is a visually stunning game. Highly recommended to any fan of the MGS series. I've never actually played peace walker so being able to on my PS3 will be worth the price alone. Not to mention the other two games rendered in HD, especially considering how rare MGS3 subsistence is these days.

However the lack of MGS1 is disappointing. Gonna have to spend $18.90 and download it seperately on the PS-Store if you want it (Which I've already done so meh).

Some of the most powerful games to ever come to console are getting and HD update for the PS3/XBOX.

Im especially looking forward to MGS 3 and above all MGS Peace Walker. My whole Metal Gear experience started with MGS Peace Walker and I was blown away with how powerful the game was, especially since I had not even played any of the other Metal Gear games. I played MGS 3 next and I can honestly say, along with Peace Walker, it is one of the most emotionally powerful games I have ever played in my life. Hideo Kojima is a genius.

So naturally I'm so excited to be able to experience some of the best games in history in HD on the big consoles. Its gonna be a blast.

A must get for any fan of MGS.

Metal Gear Solid series are the one of the best games ever existed. Highly recommended for your children if you would like them to be heroes just like Solid Snake. I grew up playing MGS and MGS2.

Will be getting this MOSTLY for MGS3, quite possibly my favorite MGS game (Neck and Neck with MGS1). Super duper keen!

I'm actually glad the first MGS game was not included on this. I bought into the HD remake of old games a while ago and got the God of War games. What I didn't know was by HD, they mean the resolution of the screen, not a complete graphical overhaul that games like Dark Athene did with with Butchers Bay, or Wipeout HD.

As I said, I'm glad MGS wasn't included. Because MGS looks incredibly terrible compared to current games. And even coming out a decade or so ago, MGS2 still looks quite good. I'm also interested of the inclusion of Peace Walker, a game originally released on the PSP. And since I never had one, the only MGS games are…well, all of them except the ones released on PSP (Including Twin Snakes on Gamecube…god, I wish they'd port that to other consoles).v Either way, I'm going to be nostalgiagasming for a week when this comes out.

I just need to find a SNES (Certain it was the SNES) and the original MG games and then I can play all the games in chronological or­der.
