"Good range of patterns from a baby onesie to teen school blazer."

Purchased on Mighty Ape

I have a new baby so made up some of the blocks for the baby wear however they seem really large in comparison to store bought clothing so will require some adjusting. Not sure if this will be a trend throughout the book or if it is being generous for the ‘jersey block’ to allow for knits with limited stretch. The forward was good, acknowledges the changes in society getting larger/heavier and also explains the changes in patterns for a growing child.

Description

Hundreds of stylish illustrations and clear, concise instructions are used to illustrate this flexible system of pattern cutting, offering both students and designers the means to achieve original, well-cut designs. The children's clothing market has changed remarkably during the last decade, and this standard work has been revised to reflect new developments, including the increasing importance of the teenage customer.
