"Another fantastic series!"
5 stars"

Love Miranda! This series is as good as the others, can't fault it except to say there aren't enough episodes! Such fun!!

It doesn't matter what Miranda attempts in life, whether it is dating or simply dealing with her overbearing mother, she always seems to fall flat, quite literally.

Miranda is 6 feet 1 inch (1.85m) tall and gets called ‘Sir' all too often. She has never fitted in with her old boarding school friends, Tilly (Sally Phillips) and Fanny (Katy Wix), and finds social situations awkward, especially around men. She is a constant disappointment to her mother, Penny (Patricia Hodge), who is desperate for her to get a proper job and a husband.

Miranda Hart is a comedy writer and actress whose sitcom Miranda has recently earned her four BAFTA nominations, three RTS awards and three Comedy Awards. It has firmly established her as one of the U.K's leading comedians.

The episodes from Series 3 are: ‘It Was Panning’, ‘What a Surprise’, ‘The Dinner Party’, ‘Je Regret Nothing’, ‘Three Little Words’ and ‘A Brief Encounter’.

Reviews for Miranda series

“Flat-out funniest thing on television”–Heat, 4 Stars

“…The main source of the comedy in Miranda is that she is a human stegosaurus, huge and hugely unfanciable, which as others have noted is politically not very correct. And if political incorrectness isn't reason enough on its own to love Miranda, there are plenty of other reasons, not least, in our house anyway, that it is the first new primetime sitcom I can recall that unites the whole family, all laughing our socks off.” Independent UK

“On paper, Miranda sounds ghastly…And yet Miranda is brilliant. It’s a laughout- loud smash, coming to DVD as a critical and ratings hit, festooned with awards and with a second series imminently hitting screens. After showy supporting turns in Lee Mack’s one-liner-laden Not Going Out and the not-excellent Hyperdrive with Nick Frost, this eponymous show is star Miranda Hart’s moment in the spotlight. And it’s her comic timing, sense of physical comedy (she falls over a lot, but you try doing that and making it funnier each time…) and sheer, industrial-strength likeability that make this show the success it is…Like all the best sitcoms, the episodes are well-constructed enough to have great re-watch value and the supporting and guest cast are an A-team of small-screen talent, from Patricia Hodge (“Such fun!” as Miranda’s exasperating Mother) and Smack The Pony’s Sally Phillips to, in one episode, a wonderfully slimy performance from early-’80s Doctor Who star Peter Davison…Such fun!” Total Film
