If you have seen Riddick it is very close

Overseas reviews have this as 4 stars. What are they watching- This is an ok movie but that's about it. Good visuals and SPFX and the story feels like an amalgamation of Tremors, the hobbit, LOTR and alien. I guess when you take a video game and try to make a movie out of it there are pitfalls. Well worth a watch if there's nothing else going otherwise wait for a sale.

Unfortunately this film was not as good as the trailer portrayed, deeply saddened as love the concept and the lead actress, if you love other films she is in and expect the same....... Wrong. Not worth buying watch it free to air when you can turn it off and not have wasted money (and I'm a purist who believes in buying dvd,s!)

Forget the infantile reviews of the armchair warriors playing games. This film starts full of action and continues to the end, then leaves it open for a sequel. Nail biting stuff, great characters and acting.
