King Arthur recruits his Knights of the Round Table: Sir Bedevere the Wise, Sir Lancelot the Brave, Sir Robin the Not-Quite-So-Brave-As-Sir Lancelot, and Sir Galahad the Pure. On the way, Arthur battles the Black Knight. During the fight, Arthur chops off the Black Knight's arms and legs but the Black Knight refuses to surrender despite being fatally wounded. They reach Camelot, but following a song-and-dance cutaway, Arthur decides not to enter, because “'tis a silly place”. They are then instructed by God to seek the Holy Grail.
