MPC: 1/25 1972 Ford Torino Stock Car (Bobby Isaac) – Model Kit
1973 was an action packed year for stock car fans, as it represented the start of a new era in racing with the highly competitive small-block 351 Cleveland engine. No team owner had more experience with building killer small-block engines than Bud Moore. With a new partnership between Bud Moore Engineering and fuel additive manufacturer Sta-Power, Moore found the finances to put Hall of Famer Bobby Isaac in the driver’s seat for the 1973 season. Isaac, never one to disappoint, went on to deliver 11 top-10 finishes, including 5 in the top 5. The powerhouse 1972 Isaac Ford Torino established itself as not only as a hi-performer but, a repeated winner.
