Mühle is one of the well-known brands in shaving, and the R89 is one of their most popular razors. With good reason. The rose-gold variant usually sells at a premium but was actually cheaper at Might Ape. The weight and length of the razor suits most hands, and it has a good balance. It uses a closed-comb design, which is less aggressive than my other (open-comb) razor. This makes it good razor for anyone new to wet shaving. It gives a good shave and there is little risk of nicks or cuts. It's also good for a daily shaver. It doesn't give a shave as close to the skin as an open-comb design, and for 2–3 days of growth, I'd still prefer a more aggressive razor. Aesthetically, it is a really nice razor too. The rose-gold handle is very appealing.
