Once you get the hang of the little intricacies of the game its great fun and a good laugh! You should know better than to pick up a duck in a dungeon.

Munchkin is packed so full of funny cards that even your friends who don't play board/card games will love killing the monsters, stealing the treasure & stabbing you in the back
The game is fun and simple to play. This game is different from most because every turn each player takes can change the games dynamic if they choose to. You will just have fun the cards. Honest.
A great game that is never boring or predictable. We can't stop playing, it's addictive!
It seems daunting and geeky at first but trust me this is one fun, addictive game
Hahaha… I play it once with my friend and get addicted now. Backstabbing my friend yeah wohoo :)
I was a bit disappointed playing this after reading the other reviews. Sure, it's a bit of fun, and you get the chance to mess with your friends, but it seems seriously lacking in a decent strategy element. While it would definitely be too complex for younger children I can definitely see this being a good family game with 11–15 year olds.
Played this with my 12yo son and 8yo daughter after purchasing the game recently. Loads of fun! My kids enjoyed the cards with “naughty words” on them (eg. The “Sneaky B****** Sword”), and we enjoyed variously helping and backstabbing our opponents (sometimes both in the same turn, what fun!). In our first game my 8yo needed a little help interpreting the rules text on the cards , but she picked it up really quickly, and had it down-pat by the second game. Some of the card names and language have even filtered down into our family lexicon (my 8yo now refers to herself as a “Wannabe Vampire”, and various members of the family are frequently accused of being “ponfused”). Pros: Easy to learn, funny, irreverent and light-hearted. Cons: Highly addictive and has loads of expansions (okay, not necessarily a Con as such… Well, maybe for your wallet); you need at least three players (can be played with 2 players in a pinch, but it's not really designed for it); some language/themes in the game are borderline acceptable for younger kids (tip: just don't tell your wife, and you'll be fine); and if you came to the game after watching the Wil Wheaton “Tabletop” episode, like I did, you'll be wondering where the gameboard and pawns are (this is the basic edition, and doesn't come with those extras – for those, you'll need to purchase Munchkin Deluxe). Buy it and try it – you'll love it!
One note about this base game is it comes with no game board or pieces, So you have to sort of make your own which is very easy to do. Finding a picture of the board online
Great game to play with lots of friends! Can take one round to understand the game, but afterwards is great fun.
This game is amazing for playing at get-togethers, or times where you have lots of people not doing much. It is really fun and I can't wait to get more of the expansions
I used to have strong, life-long friendships before playing this game… 5/5
Best card game ever. So fun, didn't want to end it
Seriously fun game, no one walks away unscathed, or with sore cheeks from grinning and laughing so much. Good game for people who don't like D & D or card games
Great game with plenty of humour. A fun way to spend time with friends.
Very funny and kids love it too. :-)
Great game to play with three or more.
Just make sure the people you play with can handle a bit of fun being poked at them, as some cards give you the right to taunt other players.
Munchkin is a great game and loads of fun for everyone, I highly recommend this game for anyone who wants a game full of humor, who doesn't want to be thief and steal your mates treasure or wear the boots of buttkicking. This is a truly epic game!
Took a little while to get the hang of how to play and what the cards mean, but once you know… Loads of FUN!
