Description

Author Biography:

Peter Boyle has published three collections of poetry: Coming Home From the World (1994), which won the New South Wales Premier's Award in 1995 and the National Book Council Award in 1994;The Blue Cloud of Crying (1997), which won the South Australian Festival award and the National Book Council award in 1998; and What the Painter Saw in Our Faces (2001). He has read his poetry at several festivals including the Medell n International Poetry Festival, 1997, and the Festival de Po sie anglo-fran ais, Paris, 1999. His books have been set on University courses and his poems widely published in such magazines as Verse (USA), Heat, Island, Southerly, Salt and Poetry Review (UK). Peter teaches English and Communications at NSW TAFE.
