I went into this movie not expecting top of the line Hollywood effects like that found on Terminator Salvation etc, and I wasn't that disappointed, don't get me wrong its nothing to write home about but is good if you have nothing else to watch and don't mind the at times slightly cheap effects (Budget limitations I guess), just disappointed cause of Ron Perlmans role, but it didn't ruin it.

An awesome film considering the budget given for the production. It is similar to the PS3 game “Resistance fall of man” and PC game “Quake 4” with plot and story line with regards to people being turned into mutants while trying to save the world. Yet the film still seems original with modern weapons still being used within the futuristic era. The downside however is the stop and start of the storyline. Action is generally throughout the whole movie, but how it is displayed can sometimes be all in one moment then delayed in the interesting factor for quite some time. But still a very good movie with good actors.
