Description

Follow the process of a real fashion designer to create your own fashion collection. Find inspiration, make a mood board, collect and gather research, choose colours and a defining silhouette, experiment with fabrics, print and pattern, build a capsule selection of garments into a collection, and then create a lookbook to show off your new range. There are also spreads about preparing for the runway show, including hair and make-up. Finally, there's the high-street launch to consider. Before you start, sign the title page to make your own fashion-label logo.

Jacky Bahbout is a writer, illustrator and actress. She is the author of My Fashion Lookbook, Funny Face and Make art with your hands and feet. Cynthia Merhej is studying illustration at Central Saint Martins.
