The story of a farmer's son who leaves home and spends all his father's money on parties and having a good time. He is eventually left hungry and alone and longing to return home. He fears that, having behaved so badly, he will not be welcome but his father is in fact overjoyed to see his son and welcomes him with open arms. This beautifully illustrated parable demonstrates that God will joyfully welcome and forgive anyone who strays but eventually comes back to him.
